Courses

The Human Subject Research Hub offers a series of online certificate courses dealing with different facets of human subject research. These courses provide a basic introduction to key topics in human subject research and introduce selected methods relevant to human subject research. The courses are modular in structure.

We offer foundational certificate courses on Human Subject Research:

• Introduction to Human Subject Research
• Core Principles: Participant Privacy, Informed Consent & Ethics Approval in HSR
• Open Science in HSR

Furthermore, we offer a selection of specialized method certificate courses:

• Designing and Running Experiments with Human Subjects
• HSR@KD2Lab: Lab License 
• Human-centered Design with Human Subjects 
• Biosignals in Human Subject Research

An overview of the course portfolio of the Human Subject Research Hub is visualized below. We  provide learning material, an online assessment and an online certificate for each course (in case the assessment is passed).
