Courses

The Human Subject Research Hub offers a series of online certificate courses  on the learning plattform ILIAS dealing with different facets of human subject research. These courses provide a basic introduction to key foundations of human subject research and introduce specialized topics relevant to human subject research. The courses are modular in structure.

We offer the following foundational certificate courses (total 130 min online course duration + approx. 30 min  for the assessments) introducing Human Subject Research:

• Introduction to Human Subject Research (48 min + 10 min)
• Core Principles: Participant Privacy, Informed Consent & Ethics Approval in HSR (25 min + 10 min)
• Open Science in HSR (57 min + 10 min)

Furthermore, we offer a selection of specialized certificate courses:

• HSR@KD2Lab: Lab License  ( 27 min + 10 min)
• Human-centered Design with Human Subjects (68 min + 10 min)
• Designing and Running Experiments with Human Subjects (still under development)
• Biosignals in Human Subject Research (still under development)
